Recently took a quick trip back home to Memphis, Tennessee for my little brother’s wedding. Honestly haven’t been back home in YEARS and couldn’t decide where to stay while we were in town.

I had previously stayed at a Hotel Indigo in Sand Diego so when I saw that Memphis just opened one up downtown I was super excited to check out their new property.

The wedding venue was located right on Main Street so Hotel Indigo was the PERFECT place to stay at. Located right in the heart of downtown Memphis, we were within walking distance to some of my old favorite local spots like Charlie Versos Rendezvous for Memphis style BBQ ribs, all the lights and action on Beale Street, and even The FedexForum where you can catch a Memphis Grizzlies game (they’re the best NBA team EVERRR but I’m a little biased because I used to dance + cheer for them back in the day:)

Absolutely LOVED the modern bluesy vibe of this place too! From all the bold, vibrant colorful spaces to the juke box right in the lobby, they definitely capture the soul and vibe of Memphis!

There’s plenty of cool spots in the hotel to sit back and chill or relax after exploring around the city.

Parking was a breeze in their attached garage and my check in process was super quick too. Much needed because I was traveling with two little hyper kids cross country who had been stuck on plane for 3 hours.

They even gave us the sweetest little welcome bag with a ton of goodies my kiddos tore into immediately. Have to say I was really impressed with their great customer service and attention to detail!!!

Right in the hotel lobby there’s a 24 hour convenient marketplace. Totally was a lifesaver after the wedding when my kiddos were tired and hungry after a late night of festivities!

Our double room was extremely spacious and super comfortable for our family four. They had a spa like shower and Aveda toiletries which I absolutely love! And only a few floors down we stumbled upon the most fun + colorful rooftop pool I’ve ever seen! Such a great outdoor space to lounge poolside or play a round of corn hole with the kiddos.

I love staying in boutique hotels like this one with little ones because I don’t worry so much about losing my crazy kiddos and its wayyyyy quicker + easier to get up to your room. Plus it just feels homier when you’re staying at a more intimate, smaller property.
Before heading back home we checked out the adorable 3rd & Court Diner that’s attached to the hotel. They have indoor and outdoor seating but we loved having our breakfast at their fun retro counter! They serve breakfast ALL DAY and I highly recommend their French Toast!!!

I can’t wait to come back and visit again and a huge thanks to Hotel Indigo for hosting my family and I during our stay in Memphis!!!
