The Royal Palms – Scottsdale, AZ Staycation

Recently my husband and I had the chance to get away for the weekend and do a little staycation at the famous Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Scottsdale Arizona. We’ve been married for almost 12 years now and have two small children at home so we really value any alone adult time we can get!

One of the best things I love about living in Arizona are all the gorgeous resort properties we have here like the Royal Palms. This was our first time staying there and we were so impressed with everything this place has to offer!!!

Driving up to the resort, you immediately feel like you have been swept away and landed in some beautiful remote European escape. The grounds were just simply breathtaking!!! Tranquil fountains sprinkled everywhere…romantic nooks and gardens throughout…inviting outdoor fireplaces…I could’ve spent an entire day just lounging around the property with a good book and a cup of coffee!

Of course we took a dip in the pool during the day and enjoyed some yummy lunch and our fav bevy of choice, spicy margaritas. They have beautiful poolside cabanas available too and plenty of shade to hide from that hot AZ sun.

That night we dined at T. Cook’s which is conveniently located right in the middle of the property. From the Hot Stone Ahi Tuna appetizer to the 7 layer Banana Cake…every single course was simply amazing! I can’t wait to go back and check out their summer Sunday Brunch with friends next time.

Royal Palms is currently offering a huge discount right now during the off peak season!!! It’s such a steal for a luxurious AAA-Four Diamond resort!
